Bookings and Payment
Reservation requests submitted through this site are processed through our booking platform, Hostaway, which manages payment collection and reservation confirmation. Rates, fees, and taxes shown at booking are subject to change until a reservation is confirmed.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made 60 or more days before check-in receive a full refund. Cancellations made 30–59 days before check-in receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made less than 30 days before check-in are non-refundable.
Guest Conduct and Property Rules
Guests are expected to follow the house rules provided at booking and in the guest guide, including check-in/check-out times, maximum occupancy, and pet policies. Pets are considered on a case-by-case basis and, if approved, are subject to an additional fee.
Water, Beach, and Boating Activities
Everett Cottage is an oceanfront property with access to a beach, shoreline, and kayaks. Use of the shoreline, water, or boating equipment requires a signed liability waiver from every participating adult, covering themselves and any minors in their care. Access is not permitted for anyone whose name does not appear on a signed waiver.
SMS and Email Communications
If you opt in to SMS communications, you agree to receive promotional messages about VIP deals on last-minute vacancies and other reservation offers. Email communications may include both promotional messages and transactional messages related to your stay. See our Privacy Policy for details on messaging frequency, data rates, and how to opt out.
Limitation of Liability
Everett Legacy LLC dba Everett Cottage and its representatives are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from your stay or use of the property and its amenities, except where prohibited by law. This website and the property are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maine, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Changes are effective when posted to this page.
