Everett Cottage

The view was insanely beautiful! We woke up to seals playing right off the deck and watched eagles soar over the bay. The cottage is exactly as described — the water really does lap against the deck at high tide. We will absolutely be back.

Couldn't have asked for a greater property. The kitchen was well-stocked, beds were incredibly comfortable, and the kayaks gave us access to some unbelievable spots on the bay. The location next to the preserve means zero light pollution — the stars at night were stunning.

We brought three generations and everyone found their perfect spot — kids loved the kayaks and fire pit, grandparents loved the sunroom. The cottage is immaculate. Craig was responsive and helpful. Already planning our return trip.

We came for the foliage and stayed for the peace. The cottage sits in its own little world — you can't hear a neighbor, just the tide and the birds. The tennis court was a bonus we didn't expect to love as much as we did. Magical place.

The kayak sunset was a memory we'll have forever. The bay is glassy calm in the evenings and with no one else around it feels like your own private ocean. House was spotless. Bar Harbor is only 15 minutes away but you'll never want to leave.
